Leora has a strong passion for philanthropy and more than a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector. She considered a career in non-profit management early on and quickly solidified her decision while serving in the Peace Corps' Business and Social Entrepreneurship Program (Republic of Georgia, 2007-2008) after graduating from Temple University’s Business Honors Program with a BBA.
She started CrossFit in early 2013 to supplement her triathlon training and quickly grew to love the sport - so much so that she began searching for a way to incorporate fitness into her career path. Leora started working for Steve’s Club National Program in 2014 as Program Director, then in 2016 became Senior Program Director, and in early 2019 became Executive Director.
Leora holds her CF-L1 and CrossFit Kids Certifications and is also the Co-Founder and Board Secretary for Fearless Athletics Steve's Club in her hometown of Philadelphia.
An avid world traveler who loves cultural discovery, Leora has lived on three continents. She currently lives in Denver, CO.
