Meet Our Team
A True Team Approach
Our work is only made possible because of the incredible team that supports our daily efforts. Their passion for our program, our kids, and where we're headed is what makes Steve's Club possible. If you'd like to contact anyone on our team directly, we invite you to do so.
Steve Liberati, Board Member
"I believe in the incredible opportunities that fitness can provide."
Steve started Steve's Club in Camden, NJ, with one goal in mind: to use his talents and resources to a make a difference in the world around him. Now through the Steve's Club National Program, Steve hopes to empower and support others as they take on the same rewarding challenge of starting a youth program in their own community.
Before starting Steve's Club, Steve was a personal trainer, studied Economics at the University of Delaware, was as a global loans specialist for Citigroup and worked several years for his father's pest control company where he learned the "real world" business skills needed to pursue his destiny as a social entrepreneur. Steve is also the creator of PaleoKits (sold through Steve's PaleoGoods).
Steve's strong passion for health and fitness, along with his desire to create positive change in the lives of disadvantaged teens across America has been the inspiration and driving force behind Steve's Club National Program.
Lee Knight, Executive Director
"I'm amazed every day by the kids of Steve's Club."
Lee's strong background in management consulting and strategic planning has been a valuable asset in establishing and growing the National Program since its inception. As the Executive Director, Lee provides guidance and direction for the operational and strategic projects to expand the National Program and better support the Local Clubs nation-wide.
She studied Mechanical Engineering at MIT, was a Senior Strategic Planning Analyst for Canon USA, and ran her own consulting/coaching firm. Lee is also a former gymnast, international-level rugby player, and started CrossFit in 2008 at CF Fairfax. Leora Hafri, Senior Program Director
"I'm inspired every day by our Local Club leaders who are passionate about changing the lives of the kids they work with."
With a strong passion for philanthropy, Leora considered a career in non-profit management early on and quickly solidified her decision while serving in the Peace Corps (2007-2008). After starting CrossFit in early 2013 she quickly grew to love the sport and began searching for a way to incorporate fitness into her career path. Leora began working for Steve’s Club in 2014.
As the Senior Program Director, Leora works with and supports our existing 30 Local Clubs and helps new Clubs get started, plans our annual Summer Leadership Camp, and is involved with the development, implementation, marketing, management and evaluation of all of the organization’s programs and initiatives.
